Spring 2013

Spring is officially here and Animal Control agencies are gearing up for the beast of the storm so to speak.  Unfortunately the lack of “winter” this year didn’t allow for my agencies usual R&R.  Our call load never really slowed down, giving us that few months of reprieve.  So as we begin to head into our busy season, once again down an officer, no leniency in our call load, and the pending fire season lingering (thanks to the lack of mother natures precipitation), the same concern keeps haunting me, “how can I keep burn out at bay while remaining diligent to my duties, my employer, and my fellow officers.”
